Cross Bore Inspections.

In partnership with your local gas company, we’re conducting safety inspections to ensure that sewer lines haven’t been accidentally affected by the installation of a natural gas line – a situation known as a cross bore.

Please note: the presence of our crews does not mean there is a gas line in your sewer or that you are in any immediate danger. This program is a proactive safety effort developed by your gas company and our safety experts to protect you, your family, and your community.

While cross bores generally pose no immediate risk, they can become hazardous if a sewer-cleaning tool accidentally contacts a gas line while clearing a blockage. These inspections are a simple, preventative way to help keep your home safe.

All technicians performing these inspections wear official ID badges and are trained to the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and community care, so you can feel confident letting them onto your property.

Gas Leak Survey.

Our gas leak survey technicians are working in your neighborhood to help keep your home and community safe. Using specialized equipment, they carefully inspect natural gas lines, meters, and pipes for any signs of leaks – even small ones that might not be noticeable.

Detecting leaks early helps prevent accidents and ensures that your gas service remains safe and reliable. All technicians carry official ID badges and follow strict safety and community service standards, giving you confidence while they are on your property.

Regular surveys like these are a simple but essential way to protect your family and neighborhood.

Water Assessment and Repair.

We have partnered with your local utility to help strengthen system reliability and protect your community. Our field teams are currently working in your neighborhood, prioritizing safety while completing important assessment and maintenance activities designed to improve water quality and safeguard vital infrastructure.

Drinking water systems require routine maintenance throughout the network of underground pipes to maintain high water quality standards. Our work includes valve and hydrant inspections, system flushing, and other specialized techniques that help your utility evaluate the condition of critical assets and plan future repair and renewal projects.
By providing real-time insights into system performance, our technicians support fire departments, maintenance crews, and the broader community in maintaining safe, reliable water service.

While crews are flushing hydrants, you may notice water flowing along the street toward a nearby storm drain. At times, the water may appear cloudy or brownish. This is a normal part of the process.

Customers in the immediate area may experience temporarily discolored water and slightly lower-than-normal water pressure during flushing activities. While the discoloration can look concerning, it does not pose a health risk.

As a precaution, please avoid using tap water, running the washing machine, or operating the dishwasher until flushing is complete.
If you experience discolored water:

  1. Run cold water from an outside spigot or bathtub faucet for about 5 minutes.
  2. If the water does not clear, wait one hour and try again.
  3. Once the water runs clear, run cold water through any faucets that had discolored water.
  4. If the water remains discolored after one hour, please call 311 to report the issue.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this important work to maintain and protect your water system.

Wastewater Inspections

Our wastewater technicians are in your neighborhood performing manhole inspections, smoke testing, and multi-sensor evaluations. These assessments provide your municipality with critical data to monitor the sewer system, identify potential issues early, and plan repairs or upgrades to keep infrastructure safe, reliable, and efficient for the community.

All technicians carry official ID badges and follow strict safety and professionalism standards.
